Scovill Manufacturing Company, New York 1886 - 1898

Scovill Waterbury View in 5x8 equipped for stereoscopic use with a Prosch Triplex Stereoscopic Shutter manufactured 1890-1901. The Waterbury View was manufactured initially by Scovill Manufacturing Company, and beginning in 1889, by the Scovill & Adams Company. The rear frame is notched to accept a stereo septum, which is missing on this example.
